Jones, Robert W. - Mr. Davies' Delight - SATB

This composition is Jones`only work for recorder. Jones must have informed himself well however about the recorder and its sound-possibilities, because Mr. Davies`delight, which he wrote for his friend „Mr. Davies“, requires the use of recorder-specific modern playing techniques. Improvisatorical elements bring an innovative sound experience to all three movements. A welcome Avant-garde counterpart to the versatile quartet literature of earlier eras, suited for advanced as wells as mid-level players.
