Four-piece angled bass in modern design made from european cherry wood, a=442 Hz, with double keys c/cis and additional keys on the middle joint for b and c in baroque fingering. Due to the angled head joint the bass recorder is positioned higher on the body, so you can blow it directly-meaning without detouring the crook.  European cherrywood (Prunus avium) is a very attractive wood due to its warm colour and interesting grain. It has wonderful tonal properties and while playing, your fingers can literally feel the resonance of the instrument.
