This two-piece sopranino recorder made of grenadilla (Dalbergia melanoxylon) in a=442Hz in
baroque fingering has a warm, full sound and is- like all other instruments of the
Rottenburgh-series- the recorder of choice for thos players, who want to play on an
advanced level with their instrument. It is a well-bearing, reliable instrument for the
soloistic play, but also ideally usable in recorder- or chambermusic ensembles. For
maintenance and to conserve the beautiful sound it is obligatory, to regularly oil this recorder.
Also available in maple, maple stained, boxwood and palisander

As of 2.January 2017 Palisander wood (Dalbergia stevensonii), Grenadilla (Dalbergia melanoxylon) and Rosewood (Dalbergia decipularis)  falls under
the Washington protection agreement CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna an Flora) of protected woods.
Therefore, the export of Grenadill wood to countries outside of th EU is currently impeded.
