This three-piece soprano recorder made of rosewood (Dalbergia decipularis) - a beautifully veined reddish wood from the great palisander- family- in a=442Hz in baroque fingering has a warm and full sound and is- like all other instruments of the Rottenburgh-series- the recorder of choice for thos players, who want to play on an advanced level with their instrument. Designed after an original by Jean Hyacinth-Joseph Rottenburgh (1672-1756), its full, warm and elegant sound makes it a very well-carrying, reliable instrument for the soloistic play, but also ideally usable in recorder- or chambermusic ensembles. For maintenance and to conserve the beautiful sound it is obligatory, to regularly oil this recorder.
Also available in maple, maple stained, pearwood, pearwood stained, boxwood, palisander, grenadilla and olivewood.
