The Steenbergen-model of this soprano recorder was made after the original from the legendary recorder collection of Frans Brüggens.
It has baroque fingering, with three-pieces made of grenadilla and tuned in a=442Hz. Through a slightly tighter build windway it develops
a „typical baroque“ radiant, warmer sound, which akes this instrument an expressive solo-instrument. In order to use all of its sound
potential, players should have experience. For maintenance and to conserve the beautiful sound it is obligatory, to regularly oil this
recorder.
this recorder is also available in boxwood and pearwood
