The three-piece modern alto recorder by Ralf Ehlert in Castello boxwood in a=442Hz
works in normal, today common baroque fingering and has a range of 2 1/2 octaves.
Due to its long scale with double key f/f sharp it has an unmistakably powerful and characteristic sound and with its wide dynamic range is suitable for music of all epochs and styles. Especially in combination with modern string, wind and keyboard instruments, this instrument impresses with its assertive sound. To maintain the beautiful sound it is necessary to oil the flute regularly.
