Sieber, Ignazio - Sechs Sonaten - Altblockflöte und Basso continuo

About the musician and composer Ignazio Sieber not much is known. He lived in the first part of the 18th century in Venice, where he also worked together with Vivaldi. His 6 sonatas show his expertise about the particularities and the use of a recorder, whereby the idea seems plausible that Sieber professionally mastered the recorder besides the oboe. Thereby these sonatas- partially with high playing-technical demands-are an enrichment for the original recorder-repertoire of the Baroque-time.
