Hotteterres OEUVRE SECOND contains of 5 suites for a travers flute with basso continuo, 2 movements for 2 recorders with bass as well as „Echo“ for recorder solo. Presented edition of the echo gives the, in so called French treble clef (g`on the lowest stave) standing original text from 1708 in the contemporary treble clef and after Hotteterres instructions- from G-major to B-major transposed play for recorder- unchanged. The player, who plays his own echoes, will have to work with the dynamic differences on a very clear intonation on the recorder with helping- fingering. This way the mid-level hard sheet music text will quickly become a hard but wonderful Bravour-piece for recorder. Hotteterres decoration chart is also printed and explained. A complete Faksimile of the whole movement is also included in the edition.
