George Bingham has been musician in the english Royal court as a member of Private Musick from 1689 to 1696 and he was a teacher too. Besides being the editor of a collection of many pieces - Airs, Menuets, Jiggs, Grounds, Chaconys - by his contemporaries, Bingham is the composer of 75 pieces.
