Meyer, Raphael - Block-Blues - Book 1 (with CD) - 6 Recorders and Piano

With the „Block-Blues“ Raphael Meyer takes up popular elements of Blues. Although the twelve-measures harmonic scheme he doesn`t take over too strictly, but plays with its length and develops his own Blues-version that way. The „Call and response“- playing Raphael Meyers accomplishes with the help of two choirs (SAT/SAB/piano). This concept also allows advanced players to play together with not so sophisticated players, since choir two is kept simpler in rhythm and playing technique as choir one.
