"Browning" is an old tune and also known as "The Leaves be Green". Klaus Miehling processes the theme in his 7-part suite in a variety of ways.
In echoes of old music, the suite begins traditionally with a French Overture, followed by Courante, Sarabande, Bourrée, Musette, Passepieds and a Presto Finale.
Harmoniously, the suite is reminiscent of old style, interestingly enhanced by modern harmonies.
