Turlough O´Carolan (1670-1738) was one of the last Irish harp players, whose music moved between traditional folkmusic and European-continental baroque music and was of extraordinary originality. The presented edition includes ten beautiful dances and melodies, that were complemented with a second part (to play ad libitum) by Nikolaus Newerkla. The pieces have different levels of difficulty and are made for soprano- and alto recorders, the piano accompaniment basically doesnt require great technical demands from the player.
