Vivaldi, Antonio - Sinfonia und Suonata - SATB

NEW !

The "Concerto à quattro" RV 153 is one of Vivaldi's most exciting pieces; it might well have been written for his pupils at the Pietà, the girls school in Venice, whose concerts were famous. Or it could possibly have been played between acts at the opera house.  This arrangement for recorder quartet: Vivaldi's viola (like the other three parts) repeats the same pattern Throughout the first movement, stopping only for the tuttis. There is very little room for it in an arrangement for recorders: the bass recorder plays an octave higher than the original cello line and has a high part - the bass recorder's high E is the descant low E. It's a fun to play this great music!
