Weber-Kellermann, Ingeborg - Das Große Buch der Weihnachtslieder -

The recorder experienced a rediscovery in Germany between 1920 and 1945, after it has not been in use- except for singular local traditions- in the art music of the Classic and the Romanticism.

In the centre of these considerations stands the Instrumentarium and the mutual influences of musical practice in the Youth Movement, the New Music then and Old music. Hereby especially the manufacturing and trading practices of the Vogtland-instrument-builders are examinend, making the classification of conserved instruments possible.

This work was assigned as a dissertation at the Institute of Music Sciences of the Eberhard-Karls-University Tübingen.
