Vorliegende Grounds und Divisions stammen aus Matteis´ Ayrs for the Violin: Preludes Allemands / .. ./ fittedt to all hands and Capacities, einer Sammlung, die etwa 1685 in London erschienen ist. Einige Stücke dieser Sammlung wurden ausdrücklich "for the flute" (Blockflöte) geschrieben.
