The presented composition comes from the blind Koto-player Yatsuhashi Kengyo, who died 1685. Yatsuhashi is one of the most faous Koto-players and -composers, whose music was handed down until now and has great meaning. Originally written for Koto, then for Shakuhachi, the six-parts composition was edited for version for alto recorder and converted into Western writing. Time of performance: about 7 minutes
