As school recorders we describe the first recorders, children and also adults can start playing the recorder. Usually those are soprano recorders, but the school recorder sortiment of our manufacturing companies includes the whole quartet of recorder types, so as well soprano, alto, tenor and bass recorders, partially even extended to a great bass. They are simple made recorders withrelatively wide windway, robustly build and very basic- tuned in their sound. Not much skill is required from the player and those recorders blend in ver easily with the whole ensemble. They are so called beginners- or school recorders.
