Alle Lieder sind schon da - Children's songbook

The Carusos! initiative of the German Choir Association aims to make singing a natural part of everyday life for kindergarten and preschool children. This songbook contains an extensive and diverse treasure trove of popular folk songs, children's classics, newer dance, play and movement songs, as well as several commissioned compositions on topics from the everyday lives of children today. Not only do daily rituals such as tidying up, getting dressed and eating provide opportunities for singing, but so do important interpersonal issues such as friendship, farewells and death. With numerous songs in foreign languages, the collection also takes into account the fact that children in Germany grow up with a wide variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. For example, selected children's songs about festivals around the world encourage the integration of traditions from other countries into everyday life. The specially produced German singable translations form an important bridge to these songs.
