Roost, Jan van der - I Continenti - ATBB/Sb

I Continenti was written on behalf of the Flanders Recorder Quartet for their 15th anniversary and consists of 6 high- in- contrast movements, which are representing the 6 continents musically. Characteristic sound effects and playing techniques are used and demand varied ways and designs of expression. All movements are summarized as a suite, but can be also played individually.
Order of movements: Afrika - Asien - Europa - Nordamerika - Ozeanien – Südamerika
