Caroso, Fabritio - Nobilità di Dame - recorder and Bc

In his two treatises Il Ballarino (printed in 1581) and Nobilità di Dame (first published in 1600 and then reissued as Raccolta di varij Balli in 1630)
Caroso brings together a total of 131 choreographies for ballroom dances from the 16th century, which were conceived at weddings and celebrations of noble families. With that he delivers
a pretty accurate picture of the dances of that time. The eight dances at hand are dedicated to the Farnese family and seven noble Italian women.
