Frescobaldi, Girolamo - Capriccio sopra la Spagnoletta - SATB

The Spagnoletta is a dance-melody, which was used by many composers of the 17th century as foundation for dances and instrumental variations. The presented work is from Frescobaldis collection of twelve four-parts Capriccies for key-instruments, that was published 1624 in Rom under the title IL PRIMO LIBRO / DI CAPRICCI / FATTI SOPRA / DIVERSI SOGGETTI; ET / ARIE IN PARTITURA DI / GIROLAMO / FRESCOBALDI / ...,in an editing for four recorders by Eric Fiedler.
