Hook, James - 12 Duettinos 1 - 2 treble recorders

James Hook, who was celebrated as some sort of prodigy at the age of 4 years, wrote compositions of almost all usical genres: Instrumental solos, duets, trios, piano works with and without accompaniment, symphonic works, concerts, songs and polyphonic chants, dramatical works, yes even oratorios. The biggest success he had with pieces of the lighter, entertaining music. The 12 duettinos are entertaining music in the greatest sense- they have catchy melodies, are loose and cleverl written- real „hooks“. The technical niveau is not sophisticated, performed with differenciated articulation and playing-humour, these each 2-parts duettinos can become a joy for players and audience quickly.
