Ortiz, Diego - 8 Recercardas - Sopranblockflöte und Basso continuo
The presented composition is from Ortiz´ 1553 published gamba-school and it contains Ricercare about Italian "tenors", meaning variations about short, repeating bass-models. In this edition the accompaniment with key-instruments is diversified as it was common in playing praxis at that time.
