A selection from Playfords comprehensive collection of socitey-dances, arranged and completed by a 2nd part (to be played ad libitum) by Nikolaus Newerkla. The edition contains diverse and sweeping dances of different levels of difficulty for soprano- and alto recorders, the piano accompaniment generally does not impose highly technical demands on the player.
