Praetorius, Michael - Französische Tänze II - recorder quartet
Volume II contains numerous dances for recorder quartet (different recorder instrumentations) from "Terpsichore", a collection of 312 mostly French dances by the German composer Michael Praetorius (1571-1621). It was published in Wolfenbüttel in 1612. Terpsichore is the muse of dance in Greek mythology.
