Purcell, Henry - Chacony - SATBGbSb

The Chaconne-originally written for strings, was edited in the presented edition for recorder orchestra. Bass- and great bass recorders play the same parts for the purpose of sound-optimisation- but you can also just let the bass- or great bass recorders play this part. The upper part is played by the alto recorder, which is transposed and doubled magnificently with the soprano recorder.
