Rootveld, Bobby - Hsinchu Khosidl - SATBGb

A klezmer composition for recorder quintet based on an Asian pentatonic scale and dedicated to the Taiwanese recorder teacher Meng-Heng Chen. This composition is a mixture of klezmer feeling and Asian pentatonic melodies. The pentatonic scale starts on C and reads: C - D - E - G - A - C
Additional techniques such as flutter tonguing, sputato etc. can also be incorporated for a klezmer feel. Feel free to experiment with them!
