Salaverde, Bassano - Diminutions about themes of Palestrina - soprano recorder and harpsichord

Diminutions by Bartolomeo de Selma y Salaverde and Giovanni Bassano, for soprano recorder (violin, treble viola, cornetto) and organ (harpsichord), transferred by Adrian Wehlte. Few works have been preserved in which cantus and bass diminutines were noted at the same time. Two works by Palestrina are masterfully decorated here: “Vestiva i colli - Prima parte” (Salaverde) and “Pulchra es, amica mea” (Bassano).
