In the 2nd movement of the d-minor-symphony Schumann refers to the Spanish Romance („spanische Romanze“)- a folk-like story-telling Stanzaic song. This movement is adjusted for 11-parts recorder orchestra (SSAATTBBBGbSb). Through transposed composition of some of the themes a great colour-sprectrum is accomplished, which is according to the intention of Schumann`s music. Therefor this edition offers a wonderful extension to the Romantic playing literature for big recorder orchestra.
