Sieg, Sören - Djaboué - ATB/SAT/ATB

This suite, stylistically classifiable as Afro-Pop, is named after the village by same name at the Northern Ivory Coast. Many musical black-African patterns- short melodic phrases, frequent repetitions, clean major- triads and vital rhythms are combined with typical European composition-techniques like variation, contrast, development and polyphony. In this edition, ‘Djaboue’ has been revised by Sören Sieg 20 years after its première, simplified somewhat and - especially at the end - changed.
