Steenhoven, Karel van - The Fugitive - Jazzy Fugue - SATB

The Fugitive is a three-parts Jazz-fugue in Bepop-style with a fourth (bass-) part, that mainly has a Walking-bass function. A very „hasty“ music-with haunting parts, fast solos and Licks. As well as in traditional fugues in the presented composition is experimented with music forms, inversions and magnifications under inclusion of modern playing techniques.
