Telemann, Georg Philipp - Sonata F major - treble, Oboe and Basso continuo

Trio sonata in three movements of medium difficulty for treble recorder, oboe (or violin) and basso continuo. The composition is equally suitable for all parts and is characterised - not surprisingly for Telemann - by a particular joy of playing. Edited from the Darmstadt Endler copy by Klaus Hofmann. The sonata was first published in 1968 and has been re-examined by the editor on the basis of the sources and the continuo realisation revised.

Movements: Allegro - Affetuoso - Presto
