The River - Recorder Orchestra

The Indian song "The River Is Flowing" is the foundation for this arrangement for seven recorders (SSAATBSb). Occasionally modern playing techniques appear in the recorder parts: flutter-tonguing, air-sounds, labiumvibrato and simultaneously singing and playing. Players, that are not familiar with the single techniques, can also leave them out. Additionally a big drum is used extending the dynamical spectrum colourfully.
