Uccellinis collection-print op. 4 with sonatas and dances "for performance on different instrumnet" published 1645 in Venice. The following sonatas were taken from this collection and transposed one whole tone higher for playing on an alto recorder. Through the clear structure and technically low demand these sonatas are a good entry into playing Early-Baroque Italian sonatas also for the less exercised recorder player.
