About Karl-Friedrich Weidemann not much is known. He must have been the leading composer in london for many years, where he died 1782 just like Johann Christian Bach. Under Weidemann`s compositions are mainly orks for transverse flute, stylistically the characteristics of the ending Baroque blend with those of the gallant style. This way these three alto recorders are a welcome expansion of trio-repertoire.
